About The Bombers

The Bombers have completed their first season together in the Surrey Basketball League and it has proven to be a real eye opener for all involved!! 

Despite an extremely rocky start to our first campaign, things really did start to come together for this fledgling team towards the end of the season! 

After a few disappointing matches that we could have won we finally pulled it together and we got our first WIN!!  and then followed it up with a second shortly after. A huge thanks goes out to Coach (Coach Pasick) for all his hard work as without him we would not have even got those wins this season. Also, a massive thanks to all our loyal players who really gave it everything even when we were short of players.. Cheers guys and i look forward to playing next to you all next season.. Bring it on!!

The Bombers Play in the Surrey Basketball League and we are  here to stay! It is a great league run by Basketball fanatics and it is one of the friendliest and sociable leagues that I have ever been involved with.

I highly recommend the Surrey League for any new teams looking to enter a league or even for well established teams looking for a new challenge! They really do cater for all.

The Bombers V The Sonics Away 06/03/2012

Truly gutted to tell everyone that we we Lost last night!
Although we scored a team high of 67 the Sonics finished on 77 odd points (will double check that score) Sooooo gutted as we came out the blocks firing and ended the 1st quarter on top 19 - 7.. We Had a decent second quarter too but the third was crazy and we completely lost the plot..We made sooo many stupid mistakes and gave away too many fouls! They took full advantage of this and massively outscored us leaving us with a 20 odd point deficit to make up in the fourth.. We had a good fourth and pulled back on them but just didn’t have the time left to come all the way back.. Basically, if we didn’t lose the plot in the third then the game was ours! It was our own fault and we need to learn from it!! Training tonight should sort us out for the last two matches!! Good effort though lads.. Onwards and upwards!!
